Pakwaan...

Pakwaan...

Hmm... there has not been a restaurant which i would die for... absolutely... wonderful.. just beyond words.. Its a boon for we people leaving close by to it....

basically its a Pakistani restaurant.. but who cares where the owners are from when the food is just that brilliant... its located in Fremont in the great & costly state of California... even Arnold would have said... " I will be back.. "

Not a high-fi restaurant with the settings.. when we walk in there there is nothing special in the outset.. just a gathering of largely Asian people... you would hear the noise which you would have missed in an authentic American restaurant... When you go for the cashier.. you remember the darshini's during college days where you had to pay before you eat... a huge variety of Veg / Non-veg delicacies..

Whenever you go, however you go.. you are always welcome... Just bring some money to pay for the special treat... I still remember the days when we roomies used to go there on the weekends... Probably everyone who is wondering my sudden increase in weight.. this is the whole & sole reason... I would in fact say.. close to taste of our home food...

Probably its perhaps a case wherein you are waiting to get your number called & get teh food.. as its based on first cum first serve basis.. Its self service... but still worth.. Kheer, jamoon & the Mesmerizing Tea.. I should say one thing... i had never drunk a Tea by choice in 24 yrs.. but these guys changed it...

If you guys ever come to US, or to be precise, California, come & enjoy this food. You will not regret it..

btw, there is no special rewards which I would be receiving by this message.. this is just one of the millions of of happy customers just writing on one of the best food joints in US.

Parties at onsite..

Parties at onsite

This is perhaps the best set of words to describe a pretention in an Human being.. You will see every other character which has been hidden in an NRI or for that sakes any other man /women who is out of her native..

On a normal occasion there would be a Bakra who would be spending.. But he wouldn’t know the expense as would be completely drunk or completely in a josh of going back to native. There will a bunch of people whom he knows or some of them whom he barely met.. But any person remotely in the color of Beige is our relative over here as it’s so hard to find a person who matches your interests..

There will lots of liquor…. You would find a cloud of smoke around you.. even me who has left the one god given gift of smoke, we still get that urge of smoking one.. just to be the younger one which you have left somewhere far behind… There will be some b-grade scenes.. if not on screen but at least in words.. pardon my language but I have vowed not to lie during these phrases.. I don’t say this is right, but just the fact as we don’t think after we decide to let ourselves completely in the mercy on liquor..

There will some or the other manager who would be at the point of crucification.. luckily my mangers haven't done anything that would bring them to the picture.. I have been blessed in that respect.. next or even earlier you will hear a lot of stories of broken heart… you would definitely relate yourself in one or the other stories.. you cant escape the true heart breaks.. or sometimes even the stories which have been cooked up .. better than harry potter ones..

You will hear a lot of old/ new music which I bet you wouldn’t have heard anytime in your life.. It might be of any language.. English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu or any other dialect.. It doesn’t matter as you are not in your senses to understand the words.. For us the main thing is that we found some time to spend on us.. Just letting ourselves free…

Sometimes.. this is my favorite part.. Outdoor parties.. I have enjoyed some of them myself.. The best ones were one of the team outings of our firm guys in Washington… one of the best.. I have done a lot of things .. I should we all did.. which we would never dare to repeat when we are sober.. but what a adventure.. at least it would remain forever in the minds who were with me..

Night clubs.. a place which would call heaven on earth when you let yourself loose.. Wherever you are.. unknown girls.. unknown buddies.. thumping music.. Girls / women or sometimes.. if you are unlucky club bouncers around you all the time.. an awesome time to remember … no matter how much you see in movies.. you just got to fel it when you are here.. no one knows who you are.. but you enjoy this time with whoever is around with you..Who says people discriminate.. no one even knows who they are dancing with..

By the time you reach home its race against the time.. you have to reach home just before one of your partner pops up.. ;-)

My favorite part at onsite parties… You can drive the most exotic cars which we would only see in wallpapers in India… I have driven a Corvette for which I had to shell out a lot of dollars… but what a ride.. really something to just grab by the wheel & just press on the gas… For real.. that’s my way to let myself go..

Well, guys… that’s all I can write right now with my hands trembling.. catch u later..

snehita...

Friends,

It’s amazing..  This word just becomes so prominent during the month of august.. every soul tries to remember & tries to spend some time with the person who has been such a brilliant part of their life.. It doesn’t matter how many fights, misunderstandings we have been through… We only remember the laughs after we passed them… We remember the benches, stone slabs, the shade under the trees, the games played under the hot soaring sun, The lecturer’s whose classes we skipped, the worst movies which we watched on the first day…

The matches which we played with 6-7 people but felt like playing in front of a filled stadium… The unaccountable treats & parties.. no matter how we paid or who paid them… in my case it’s all you guys… ;-)

The wonderful days when we rode the strangest of vehicles.. The Kinetic spirit, Bajaj & the amazing TVS - 50 …  these were the driving force during our college days… Thanks to those amazing initial rides which have just propelled our bond till today..

It’s nothing big which we did during those times.. but even the smallest things were appreciated..  the best present was to give a copy of the reference material during the time of exams.. and a assurance that the questions would be picked up within the same odd 100 pages…  That’s the trust which Friends have within each other..

Still remember the moments before the exam where we all used to sit on the rocks… go to multiple toilets… climbing up the stairs to bow in front of the god.. in my case search for that gorgeous Ginimoogu ...  thanks for the guys who told me her location … ride the same vehicles .. start at the exact time… No matter what we did, we did it together..

I don’t have to celebrate our relation only during this week… We have this amazing bond from past years that there has not been a day which has gone by … in which I have not thought about you guys..  Thanks for being there & with each other during the most happiest & the difficult times …  I can just go on & on with this message but it’s impossible to write about us completely..  and moreover it’s not a thing of the past.. it’s the present & the future too… so it’s not a thing to be written but one to experience..

I don’t mind if you guys wanna scold me, taunt me, praise me or just gossip about any damn thing in the world.. I am just a call or a message away…

Hope to see you guys soon… Miss you a lot..

hum kya se kya ho gaye ??

When i speak to you guys... there is always one question.. Tell me about what you feel.. what do you think... Well, instead of being repetitive, I found the perfect song that re-iterates what i feel every single day..

sare sapne kahi kho gaye...
haye hum kya se kya ho gaye ??

Dil se tanhai ka dard jeeta
kya kahe hum pe kya kya na beeta
tum na aaye magar jo gaye
hai hum kya se kya ho gaye ...

sare sapne kahi kho gaye...
haye hum kya se kya ho gaye ??

tumne hum se kahi thi jo baatein
unko dohrati hai gham ki raatein
tumse milne ke din to gaye
hai hum kya se kya ho gaye ...

sare sapne kahi kho gaye...
haye hum kya se kya ho gaye ??

koi shikwa na koi gila hai
tumse kab hum ko ye gham mila hai
haan naseeb apne hi so gaye
hai hum kya se kya ho gaye ...

sare sapne kahi kho gaye...
haye hum kya se kya ho gaye ??

Well , i think its a question which many like me ask themselves.. I haven't found an answer yet.. hope atleast you guys do..

It's a song sung by alka yagnik..If you wanna listen, please do so at

Sarkar Raj Sucks..

Every time there is a talk about a sequel, it comes along with a group of people commenting " Its not going to be as good as the prelude.. "

You just ignore that warning as we ignore the one on the Cigarette packs. Your mind says no.. but your heart says go for it.. it has got so much Hype, so much promise, so many promises.. It makes you say it gotta be good..

Spend an entire day in the anticipation of a great movie.. The worst part would be when you take one of your Foreign friends along with you. & wait .. its not over.. It comes along with the English Subtitles.. ya.. that should have indicated that this night is going to be looooooong.....

There is nothing different.. Same camera angles.. same lightings used.. almost the same cast too.. I dont understand whether we went to see a movie or a political party meeting.. Both AB's just say something, then follow up with a long dialougue.. which is so long that you would have forgotten what was the topic all about..

Huge Disappointment would be Ash who is just used as a Glam doll.. Its so frustrating to see her say such stupid dialougues.. " I have never seen anything like that" .. for everything.. U wonder whether she was born just a day ago.. but u still can see her because of those Piercing eyes...

Abhishek is just with one expression for the entire movie.. Oh no.. wait.. he laughs in the middle when he finds out his efforts in the prelude has earned him would be FATHER status..

I thought the one & only best part of the movie was Govind Namdeo with his awesome dialogues.. But RGV doesn't like it.. He kills him too... In fact this is the point at which he starts to lose it completely.

Sincere suggestion.. Don't watch this movie.. For the first time.. even Rediff's Raja Sen's review is perfect..

I would seriously suggest you to watch another movie " Aamir " which is worth every buck..

May your brains be with you
